Yes. OptiPrismatic Solutions partners with the Arise® platform to connect independent contractors to customer service opportunities with Fortune 500 companies. This is a legitimate 1099 contractor position, not a traditional W-2 job.
What kind of work will I be doing?
You’ll be providing customer support services such as answering calls, assisting with orders, helping with troubleshooting, or addressing general customer needs, depending on the client you choose.
Is this fully remote?
Yes. This is a 100% work-from-home opportunity. You will need a quiet workspace, a compatible computer, and a reliable internet connection.
How do I get paid?
Payments are issued biweekly on the 1st and 15th of each month. You are paid as an independent contractor, and pay rates vary depending on the client and performance.
Are there any startup costs?
Yes. There are a few upfront costs to be aware of:
- Background check: approximately $30 (non-refundable, valid for 36 months)
- Client certification course: varies by program, typically free
- Administrative fee: $49.75 per pay period
These costs help cover the systems, tools, and support provided throughout your time with us.
What is certification?
Each client requires a certification course to prepare you for their systems and expectations. These virtual training programs ensure you're fully equipped to provide excellent service.
How many hours do I need to work?
Minimum hour requirements are determined by the client and may vary. You can set your own schedule, but consistent servicing is expected.
What equipment do I need?
Desktop or laptop (no Chromebooks, tablets, Mac OS X systems)
Hardwired high-speed internet connection
USB headset
Quiet, distraction-free work environment
Additional equipment may be required depending on the client program.
Will I receive a W-2 or 1099?
You will receive a 1099-NEC as an independent contractor. You are responsible for your own taxes.
